The Rev. Charles Witt officiated at the nuptial ceremony at 2 p.m. Saturday in Trinity Lutheran Church in which Miss Eileen Beverly Edblom, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Edblom, became the bride of Lester Safemaster.

The bride was attired in a navy blue suit with white accessories. A corsage of gardenias was pinned at her shoulder.

Miss Betty Brill, Colby, as maid of honor, wore a red suit with white accessories accented with a corsage of gardenias.

Arthur Edblom Jr., brother of the bride, was best man. Alvin Edblom, another brother of the bride, and Orville Westberg, ushered at the ceremony.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Arlyn Edblom, Colby, followed by a supper served to 75 guests.

When the couple return from a trip in southern Illinois and Iowa, they will reside in Unity where the groom is employed in the trucking business.

Out of town guests at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Nels Safemaster, Pewaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Milton Koch, Westboro; Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Flink and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Mellenthin, Spencer; Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Felker, and Mr. and Mrs. George Egnoski, Oshkosh; Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Alexander, Owen and Mr. and Mrs. Arlyn Edblom, Colby.
