Williamson, Frances (30 May 1888 - 6 Sept. 1950)

Mrs. William Williamson passed away at her home here Wednesday evening. She had been in poor health for some time.

Further details and funeral arrangements are not known at time of going to press so a complete obituary will be published next week.

Funeral rites for Mrs. William Williamson, 62, who died at her home September 6, were held Sunday at the Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial was made in the parish cemetery and the Rev. Charles Witt officiated.

The former Frances Grunewald, Mrs. Williamson, was born here May 30, 1888. She was married June 12, 1913 at Athens to Andrew Gregerson, who died October 9, 1916. She was married May 1, 1920 to William Williamson, who survives. The couple operated a farm in the Town of Brighton until 1945 when they retired and moved to Unity, after spending a year in Chicago.

Surviving besides the widower are three daughters, Mrs. Clarence Buetsch, Spencer; Mrs. Warren Misener, at home, and Mrs. Bernard Eckes, Unity; a son, Everett Gregerson, Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Ole Fladvid, Athens; and Mrs. Walter Clothier, Milwaukee, three brothers, Henry Grunewald, Athens; Frank Grunewald, Milwaukee; and Alvin Grunewald, Bethesda, Mr., and two step-sisters, Mrs. George Fulmer, Athens; and Mrs. William Hanson, Abbotsford, Wis.

Pallbearers were Carl Mellgren, Nels Safemaster, Lloyd Ringquist, Walter Fladvid, Orville Westberg and John Winkler.

In charge of floral arrangements were Mrs. Lorraine Flink, Mrs. Norman Winkler, Mrs. Warden Burnett, Mrs. Frank Budde, Mrs. Roland Safemaster, Mrs. Nels Safemaster, Mrs. Lloyd Ringquist, Mrs. Walter Fladvid, Mrs. Milton Wolfe, Mrs. George Jeske, Joan Grunewald, Mrs. Raymond Johnson and Mrs. Les *** The rest of the article is cut off and not available at the time of transcription. ***
