Parman, Minnie (6 Aug. 1903 - 20 May 1950)

Mrs. Kenneth Parman, nee Minnie Larson, 46, wife of Kenneth Parman of Milwaukee, Wis., passed away at 2 a.m. Saturday at Columbia Hospital, Milwaukee after an illness of about two years.

She was the stepmother of doctors Glarner Parman and the late Jerome Parman, twin sons who were burned so badly in an explosion at Chippewa Falls recently. She was the daughter of Mads Larson, of Unity. Besides her husband, son and father, she is survived by three brothers, Reuben, New York City; Alex, Tomahawk; and Fred, Spencer; 3 sisters, Mrs. Laura Gruenwald, Athens; Mrs. Mida Wieland, Port Angeles, Washington and Miss Ann Larson, Milwaukee.

Funeral services were held in Milwaukee Monday, May 22 at the Ritter Funeral Home with Eastern Star services followed by the Rev. Thomas B. Lyler and Tuesday from the Trinity Lutheran Church in Unity with burial at Colby.

Mrs. Parman had lived in Unity in former years with her first husband, Walter Kops, who was drowned in a fishing accident. She then taught school in Athens where she married Mr. Parman.

Minnie Larson, a fomer Unity girl and former school teacher in Spencer, was well known in this community.

Pallbearers were Dr. P. T. Haberman, Ervin Stremer, O. W. Carlson, Franklin Plisch, Martin Evenson and Melvin Tennis.

Mrs. William Hoge, Mrs. Albert Braun, Mrs. Rogert Dunkel, Mrs. Melvin Tennis, Mrs. Martin Evenson, Mrs. Tom Loughead, Mrs. Harry Mandel, and Mrs. Alvah Messer were in charge of floral arrangements.

Out of town people attending the services were Kenneth Parman and son, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Gruenwald and daughter, Joan, Athens; Reuben Larson, New York City; Alex Larson, Tomahawk; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Larson and Mr. and Mrs. Dern Larson, Spencer; Ann Larson, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Parmen, Prairie du Sac; Mrs. H. Fulmer, Rochester; Mrs. Amelia Rasmussen, Mr. and Mrs. William Rasmussen and Ruth, Oshkosh; Mrs. Wm. Schmidt, Fond du Lac; Mrs. Lena Rasmussen and Mr. and Mrs. H. Pederson, Tampico, Ill.; and Harvey Borg, Clintonville.
