Weaver, Minnie E. (Marriage - 5 May 1883)

Church - Weaver - At the residence of the bride’s parents, at Loyal, Wis., May 5, 1883, Harry Philpott, Esq., officiating, Mr. A. K. Church and Miss Minnie E. Weaver.

The bridesmaids were Miss Cora Gwin and Miss Mary White; the groomsmen were Elias Weaver, brother of the bride, and Mr. J. McMann. The ceremony was witnessed by about thirty invited guests. After the ceremony the assembled company at down to the sumptuous repast prepared for the occasion. The evening was enlivened by music, both vocal and instrumental. After enjoying departed wishing the bride and groom a happy voyage over the sea of matrimony. The following are the testimonials of friendship and affection. Sewing machine and table spread, Mr. and Mrs. Weaver; glass pitcher and half dozen napkins, Elias Weaver, silver pickle castor, Mr. and Mrs. Wait; syrup cup, Eddie Church; bed spread, lamp, pair of towels and set salt dishes, Mrs. Eliza Church; half doz, napkins and pickle dish, Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Bowman; silver napkin ring, Miss May White, silver napkin ring, J. McMann, syrup cup, May Philpott; cake stand, J. Chesterman; hand painted cushion, Mrs. J. Chesterman; lamp and shade, Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Philpott, clock, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Philpott; bed spread and mirror, Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Graves; salt dish and pickle dish, Spencer and Merton Graves; cake stand, John D. Graves; one dozen napkins, Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Jaques; mirror, Anna Jaques, washbowl and pitcher, John Gwin; silver pickle castor, Mrs. John Gwin; silk handkerchief and hair brush, Katie and Esther Gwin; glass pitcher, Mrs. L. Barber; silver butter knife, Cora Gwin; glass set, Mr. and Mrs. P. G. Gwin; bed quilt, Grandma Philpott.
