THORP -- Rudolph W. "Rudy" Kokaly, 91, of Thorp, died Sunday, May 6, 2007, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Thorp. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Withee, with military rites conducted by the Thorp American Legion Post 118.

Visitation will held at the church Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.

Rudolph William Kokaly was born Dec. 5, 1915, in Willard to Frank and Antonia (Krizmanic) Kokaly. He was inducted into the U.S. Army on July 27, 1943, and served during World War II until his discharge, March 31, 1946.

He was united in marriage Feb. 11, 1956, to Stella J. (Vitort) Masik at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, Thorp. She died April 20, 2006.

Rudy worked many years as a lineman for Dairyland Power Company until his retirement.

He is survived by two step-daughters, Carol Morin of Maplewood, Minn., and Bonnie (John) Mathwig of Bonita Springs, Fla.; five step-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ann Boh of Marshfield and Carolyn Feitl of LeGrange Park, Ill.; and one brother-in-law, Lowell Brown of Eau Claire.

Thorp Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
