Emerson, Ida (1874? - 17 Nov. 1949)

Mrs, George Emerson, 75, a former resident of Unity, died at her home in New London, Ohio, November 17 after an illness of two weeks.

The former Ida Groelle was born and raised in Unity, her father having owned a grocery and general merchandise store on the corner where the Shell station now stands. For a time after her marriage to George Emerson they lived with his mother in the home now owned by Mrs. Laura Purkis. Mrs. Emerson had a millinery store in the front room of her home.
