Hall Dedicated on Friday, February 6

The pride and joy of every citizen of the Village and Community was officially opened to the public last Friday evening. The Hall has now been danced and dined in, ball games won and lost. That’s about all, except to get the rest of it finished and last, but not least, make the payments.

The Ticket Sales Committee report there were 825 tickets sold at $1.00 each; three hundred being sold at the door that evening, so you know there was a good crowd out and every one seemed to have a good time.

What was taken in on the lunch and Checking Department has not yet been tallied up as there were some bills which have not been settled. We are anxious and eager to know just how this big affair turned out financially, even though we know it was a success. Perhaps later we can get the definite figures. Here is a list of the lucky people who won prizes:
