Hennlich, Anna M. (17 JUN 1933)

A very beautiful wedding took place Saturday morning at 9 o’clock at the St. Louis Catholic Church when Miss Anna M. Hennlich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hennlich, prominent town of Holton (Marathon Co.) residents, became the bride of Alfred J. Jansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Jansen, 2834 N. 34th St., Milwaukee. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. N. Krebich.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, Wm. Hennlich, was attired in a white satin lace trimmed gown with white slippers and hose to match. A white cap style net veil with orange blossoms and an arm bouquet of roses and snapdragons completed the bridal ensemble.

The bridesmaids were Misses Gretchen Hennlich, sister of the bride, and Miss Hildegarde Jansen, sister of the groom. Miss Hennlich wore a peach gown and Miss Jansen wore blue ?. Each wore little caps of net to match their gowns and carried arm bouquets of roses and carnations. The groom and his attendants, George Jansen, his brother, and Hans Hennlich, the bride’s brother, wore the conventional dark suits.

Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served tot eh bridal party at the home of the bride’s parents. At 2 o’clock a reception was held and dinner was served to the immediate relatives, with covers laid for about thirty guests. The house was cleverly decorated with white, blue and peach streamers and cut flowers.

The happy young couple will visit here with the bride’s parents until next Sunday when they will leave for their home at 2834 N. 34 St., Milwaukee. The groom is employed as a salesman for the George Garens Clothing Co., on North Avenue.

To the many Dorchester friends, Miss Hennlich needs no introduction. She is a capable young lady of pleasing qualities and her many friends are certain that her choice has been a wise and happy one. They join us in offering the newlyweds many years of joy and prosperity in life’s journey.

Out of town guests attending the wedding were the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Jansen, his sister, Miss Hildegarde Jansen, his brothers, Robert, George and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jansen, all of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hennlich Jr., and family, and Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Hennlich and family of Curtiss, brothers of the bride, Herman Eggert, Milwaukee, an uncle of the bride’s, Miss Gertrude Dietrich, Owen, and the bride’s sister, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Fierke.
