Rita Tranberg

Rita Tranberg, 72, Blair, died Thursday, February 22nd, 2007, the Tri-County Memorial Hospital, Whitehall.

Funeral services were held February 26th at the First Lutheran Church will burial in the Rest Haven Cemetery, both in Blair, with Pastor Mark Kvale presiding.

Rita was born on April 1st, 1934, in Blair to Perry and Agnes (Moen) Lee.

She married LaVerne Tranberg on October 20th, 1951 in Blair. LaVerne preceded her in death January 6th, 1974.

Rita is survived by her 15 children, Lana (Harold) Kidd, Blair, Linda (Dennis) Young, Rosemont, MN, Allan (Roxy) Tranberg, Abbotsford, Sheila (Eugene) Simmons, Blaire, Cindy (David) Tjoflat, Ettrick, Bob (Sue) Tranberg, Blair, Marie (David Nyen, Blair, Lorie (Jim) Iverson, Blue River, Vern (Wendy) Tranberg West Salem, Sue (Jim) Nyen, Blair, Ron (Deana) Tranberg, Blair, Julie (Tim) Wheeler, Blair, Carol (Jeff) Berg, Ettrick, Butch (Brenda) Tranberg, Whitehall and Tammy (Willie ) Vehrenkamp, Ettrick; 65 grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister, Elaine Stenberg and four brothers, Tom, Perry, Don and Stephen Lee.

In addition to her parents and husband LaVerne, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Scott Tranberg; two brothers, Clayton and Robert Lee and a sister, Betty Moen.
