Lynn, Mary (16 Dec. 1866 - ? Sept. 1944)

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lynn, 77, of Unity, who died at St. Joseph Hospital in Marshfield after an illness of two weeks, were held last Tuesday afternoon in Chippewa Falls, the Rev. L. A. Brenner officiating and burial was in Forest Hill cemetery in Chippewa Falls.

Mary Mills was born Dec. 16, 1866 in Pennsylvania and located in Chippewa Falls with her parents at an early age. She was married there 58 years ago to William S. Lynn, who preceded her in death. She lived in Unity 11 years. Surviving are five sons, Charles Lynn of Minneapolis; George Lynn of Aurora, Ill.; Gordon and Sheldon Lynn of Unity, and Randall Lynn of Denver, Colo.; a daughter, Mrs. Maude Leidholdt of Chippewa Falls; a sister, Mrs. James Lynn of Chippewa Falls; a brother, Verlette Mills of Eau Claire; 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Out of town relatives and friends attending the funeral services included Randall Lynn and George Lynn, Mrs. Willis Johnson of St. Charles, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lynn, Mrs. Wayne Westerman and Phyllis Lynn of LaCrosse; Mr. and Mrs. Allen McCrory and son of Fenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Jake Eckes of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Kenyon of Loyal; Miss June Lynn of Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Lynn and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Lynn, Mrs. Rudy Lynn, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Melander, Mrs. Lucy Colby and Mrs. Alvin Schweke, all of Unity.
