Langworthy Reunion

The Langworthy family reunion was held Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl R. Langworthy in Houghtonburg. This has been an annual event of the Fred. B. Langworthy family for the past thirty-five years.

Fred Befour Langworthy and Frances Phillips were married at Elroy in 1874, and to this union seven children were born, all of whom are living and all, with wives and husbands, were present at this 1939 reunion.

The day was spent in feasting, picture taking, singing, and one grand visit all around. Next year the reunion is to be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred F. Langworthy, at Chippewa Falls on the first Sunday in June.

Those attending Sunday’s reunion from away were: Mr. and Mrs. Ben Osborne, Robert Osborne, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Geibel and Marlene, of Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Fred F. Langworthy, Sterling Langworthy; Howard Langworthy; and Ross Langworthy, of Chippewa Falls; Miss Mildred and Miss Norma Douglas, of Jim Falls; Ivan Langworthy, Loise and Robert, of Cadott; Mr. and Mrs. Souers and Miss Helen, of Altoona; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hall, Miss Phylis and Earl and Neil Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Gaines Hall, Kathleen, Elaine and Gale Halle, Mr. and Mrs. Cad Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Livermore, and Gale and Bruce, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Langworthy; and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Langworthy, of Augusta; Mr. and Mrs. Gaines Langworthy, Nevin, Shirley, and Sharron Langworthy, of Sparta; Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Haskins, and Miss Anita, Verna, and Donna Haskins, of Clarion, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Harold P.
