Houghtonburg

Leop Hiltbrand and two sons, William and Fred, of Blue Mounds, visited at Houghton’s Sunday.

Hon. P. A. Hemmy returned to Madison Sunday, after a ten days vacation from assembly duties. Mrs. Hemmy accompanied him as far as Baraboo, where she will take care of her daughter’s home while Mrs. Gasser is in the hospital for an operation.

The "galloping ladies" lead by Mrs. Mablon Houghton, spent Monday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Sam Newton.

Mr. and Mrs. L. Girard, of Chippewa Falls spent Easter with the Wallace Hemmy Family.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sprester of LaCrosse, and Mr. and Mrs. John Hoch of Alma Center were dinner guests at Harry Iffland’s Sunday.

Harry Iffland is slowly recovering from the injuries he received a week ago in a tussle with a heifer, in which he received a broken rib and was otherwise badly bruised. He is still confined to the house.

Harry Eischen is numbered among those "under the weather."

Wm. Rosolack and son Dick have completed the work on the pig shed they were building for Melvin Stubbs, and are now do-*Rest cut off.***
