Houghtonburg

Mrs. Bessie Pomroy, who has been staying at the Chas. Dunlap home while attending to business matters, on the farm, had the misfortune to fall last Monday and fractured a bone in her left arm just above the wrist.

About forty neighbors gathered at the Herman Hart home Sunday evening to visit and play cards. Mr. Hart and family are moving this week to the Sichler farm in Green Valley. We are sorry to see them leave our neighborhood.

Joe Radke is seriously ill at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Peter Brietenbach.

Mrs. G. H. Iffland spent Thursday night at the A. F. Simons home in Humbird.

The county and town snow plows clear our roads one day and March winds and weather fill them full of snow again the next day.

Mrs. P. A. Hemmy returned to Baraboo Monday. She had been there assisting her daughter Mrs. Chris Gasser, with household duties while she was suffering with a felon on her finger.
