Mrs. Norrisa Barr passed away on Nov. 6, 1937, at 3:45 a.m., at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Gunderson, at Blair. She had been in poor health for some time, and since last July 8th, her 80th birthday, was confined to her bed.

To this union seventeen children were born, three preceded her in death. They first made their home at Fairchild and later moved to Humbird, where they resided until 1915, when they moved to Montana, where they resided five years. On returning to Wisconsin they again made their home at Humbird until the death of her husband, March 25, 1921. Dak.; Nettie (Mrs. Chancey) Primmer, Mead, Wash.; Cora (Mrs. Gilbert) Gunderson, Blair; Leota (Mrs. Oscar) Thompson, Blair.; Sylphia (Mrs. George) West, Hixton. Eight sons surviving are; Claude, South Rygate, Vt.; Clyde and William, Fairview, Mont.; Archie, Wisdom, Mont.; Roy, Ogema; Worthing, Colby, Fred, Humbird, and Dean, of Racine. Fifty grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, at 2:30, at the M. E. Church, the cortege coming from Blair where brief services were held, The Rev. Paul. F. Schroeder, of Blair officiating. Many old friends attended the service. Six granddaughters, Mrs. Ruth Dressel, Mrs. Floyd Ryder, Mrs. Douglas Butler, Irene and Ila West and Verna Barr were flower girls, and six grandsons were pallbearers, Archie Gundreson, Flody West, Robert Barr, Claude Barr, Virgil Gregory and Ivan Housley.
