Harold G. Schulz

THORP -- Harold George Schulz, 93, of Stanley, died Wednesday, March 14, 2007.

Services were at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Thorp. Burial will be today at Arlington Cemetery in Milwaukee.

Visitation was from 1 p.m. to service time Friday at the church.

Thorp Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.

He was born July 9, 1913, in Milwaukee to George and Augusta (Harthun) Schulz. He married Martha Budish on June 28, 1941. She predeceased Harold on May 29, 2004. He worked in the compressor division of Allis Chalmers Corporation from 1938 to 1948. During World War II he worked as a civilian on the Manhattan Project. He and his wife moved to Thorp in 2002.

Harold is survived by his children, Cheryl (Dennis) Gramins, Salem, and Janice (Robert) Monke, Thorp; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
