Heidtke, Loretta (? - 25 FEB 1930)

Loretta, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Heidtke, passed away at the hospital in Chippewa Falls Tuesday noon of mastoids. She had been suffering since January 29, but not seriously ill until the last few weeks and she had been in the hospital a week. Tuesday morning she was operated on and died at noon the same day.

The funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o’clock in Chippewa Falls, Rev. J. Brandt officiating, and Ruth Fierke, Marie Schultz, Leota Brandt, Martha Koerner, Irene Daellenbach are the pallbearers, and Marie Dumler, Gertrude Koerner, Viola Kellner and Irene Gumz are the flower girls. These girls are all schoolmates of Loretta’s.

Loretta was born in Dorchester and has lived here all her life, attended school at the St. Peter’s Lutheran parochial school and was in the fifth grade. A bright, sweet-faced little girl and a general favorite with all who knew her, just a blossom transplanted into the garden of God’s where earth’s cold or sadness can never reach her.

Besides her grief stricken parents, she leaves two brothers, Walter of Leotta, S.D., and Werner of Bloomer, and three sisters, Dorothy (Mrs. Marquardt), Eleanor and Mildred.

May God comfort as only He can these mourning hearts.
