Patricia A. Jagodzinski

COLBY - Patricia A. Jagodzinski, 65, of 406 N. Sixth St., Colby, died Monday, Oct. 24, 2005, in her sleep.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby. The Rev. John Malik will officiate.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Community Funeral Home, Colby. Maurina/Community Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Patricia was born Dec. 23, 1939, in Manitoba, Canada to Peter and Katie (Herchyk) Chudyk. She attended school in Detroit, and graduated from Owen Senior High School in 1958. She was married to Arnold Jagodzinski in 1959. She enjoyed working with children and people of all ages with special needs. She spent many hours organizing, managing and coaching 4-H groups and sports clubs. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She was devoted to her religion and was a very active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Patricia is survived by her sons, Arnold R. Jagodzinski of Stevens Point and Jason (Nicole) Jagodzinski of Skokie, Ill.; her daughters, Kathleen (Rodney) DeCaire of Owen and Kristalin (James) Leonhardt of Marshfield; her mother, Katie Chudyk of Colby; her very special niece, Cheryl Chudyk of Colby; her brothers, Frank (Shirley) Chudyk of Marshfield, Jeff Bautch of Fort Meyers, Fla., and Henry (Barb) Bautch of Naples, Fla.; her sisters, Margie (Eddy) Friedenfels of Eau Claire, Berniece Seidel of Neillsville, Bev (Jim) Molitor of Curtiss and Geraldine (Jerry) Pflanzer of Colby; her grandchildren, Amanda and Stephanie DeCaire of Owen, Lucas Jagodzinski of Stevens Point, Kyra and Devin Jagodzinski of Skokie, Ill., Tammy and Lindsey Pepowski of Stevens Point, Michelle Leonhardt of Marshfield and Melissa Leonhardt of Appleton; one great-granddaughter, Kamryn Scheuer Leonhardt; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kristine Jagodzinski; her father, Peter Chudyk; and her brothers, Bernie Chudyk, Donny Chudyk and Pauly Chudyk.

She will be dearly missed by all.

Due to her lifelong battle with asthma, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to asthma research at Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation, 1000 N. Oak Ave., IRI, Marshfield WI 54449.
