Weaver, Edwin M. #3 (24 JAN 1948 - 31 JAN 2007)

Edwin M. Weaver, 59, Willard, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007, at his home. Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 5, at Pine Grove Mennonite Church, Granton. Bishop Clair Horst officiated with the assistance of Minister Paul Wesley Oberholtzer. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Delton Weaver, Loren Weaver, Levon Weaver, Duane Weaver, Lonnie Weaver, Mervin Nolt, Kenneth Shirk, and Micah Hensley.

Edwin M. Weaver was born on Jan. 24, 1948, in Ephrata, Pa., to Henry and Elsie (nee Martin) Weaver. He was raised and received his education in Lancaster County. He married Nancy Martin on Sept. 30, 1971, in Elkhart County, Ind. He worked for Holiday Rambler, Wakarusa, Ind., for 14 years in maintenance. They had also lived in Thorp, where they farmed for seven years, before moving back to a farm in Willard in 1999. He was a member of the Pine Grove Mennonite Church, Granton, and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy, Willard; five sons, Delton (Rhonda) Nappanee, Ind., Loren, Willard, Levon, Neillsville, Duane (Sylvia), Willard, and Lonnie, Goshen, Ind.; three daughters, Darla (Mervin) Nolt, New Hampton, Iowa, Lorrie (Micah) Hensley, New Paris, Ind., and Danita (Kenneth) Shirk, Neillsville; eight grandchildren, Kevin, Derek, Jared and Nadine Weaver, Pamela and Sheila Nolt, and Kayden and Keegan Shirk; his parents, Henry and Elsie Weaver, Farmersville, Pa.; three brothers, Irvin (Anna) Weaver, Penn Yan, N.Y., Lloyd (Alma) Weaver two sisters, Lois (Luke) Martin, Franklin County, Pa., and Miriam (Ivan) Oberholtzer, Farmersville, Pa.

His family would like to thank all of their family and friends for their prayers, comfort and support during their time of loss.

Cuddie Funeral Home, Greenwood, assisted the family with arrangements.
