Sweet, Harry (22 Sept. 1898 - 28 May 1941)

North Romadka - Harry Sweet, 47, died at Ogallala, Neb., on May 28. Harry the eldest child of Frank Sweet, of Romadka, was born September 22, 1898, in the town of York on what is now known as the John Kotchy farm. He attended the rural schools here and when a small lad moved with the family to Ogallala, Neb., which has been his home ever since. The family came back to Wisconsin where his mother passed away at her home near Loyal.

Harry was with the American expeditionary forces in France during the World War, as was his oldest brother, Murl, of Monroe, Wis. Another brother, Burney, of Brooklyn, Wis., served during the war but not in France.

Harry leaves, besides his father and these two brothers, a sister Mrs. Beatrice Boushon, Park Falls, Wis., and a brother, Gilbert Sweet, now stationed at a training camp in Missouri. One sister, Mrs. Walter Oestreich, passed away January 9, 1940.
