Waterman, Frank (6 June 1856 - 11 April 1941)

Frank Waterman, a former resident of Neillsville and of the town of Fremont, passed away at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Waterman, Richland Center, Friday, April 11.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. April 15, at the Chili Evangelical Church with Rev. Otho Blackburn of Mosinee conducting the rites. Interment was made in the Yolo Cemetery. The pallbearers were: Anton Hornick, George Selk, Oscar Franke, Anton Hoganson, Herman Montag and Theodore Har?iman.

Mr. Waterman was born June 6, 1856. He was married to Mattie Austin, March 20, 1878, at Neillsville where they lived for several years after their marriage, the greater part of their lives being spent in the town of Fremont. For the past several years they had lived with their children.

Mrs. Waterman died October 18, 1940.

Surviving beside the son, Wayne, are Clark, Mosinee; Frank, Mineapolis; Rev. Jay Waterman, Center, Iowa; and Lottie Gibson, Abbotsford; 32 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
