Hare, Rachel (Marriage - 1 March 1941)

Miss Rachel Hare and Dorrance Searls were united in marriage at St. John’s Methodist parsonage in Davenport, Iowa, March 1, 1941.

The single-ring ceremony was used by Rev. Piery. The couple was attended by Ruth Hare and Gerald Searls.

The bride is the daughter of William Hare of Lou Point and attended the Lou Point public school. She has been employed in Peoria, Ill., since graduation from high school.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Searls of Gillingham. He is a graduate of the Granton high school in the class of 1935. The groom is employed by the Willameth Hyster Company of Peoria.

The bridal couple, accompanied by their attendants, spent the weekend with his parents at Gillingham, Wis.

The young couple will make their home in Peoria
