Peterson, Alan Craig (18 May 1929 - 22 Jan. 1941)

Alan Craig Peterson was born May 18, 1929, at Sparta, Wis., the son of Mrs. Gertrude Davis Peterson, Stevens Point, and Dr. E. A. Peterson, Neillsville, Wis. For the past several years he made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Everett Moore, Minneapolis, at whose home he passed away on January 22, 1941, after a short illness.

He is survived by his parents, grandparents, and an aunt, Miss Emma Kimball, and Mr. and Mrs. Everett Moore.

Christian Science services were held at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton, and Saturday, January 25. Mrs. Ward Weldon read the funeral service and A. J. Miller sang two solos "O Gentle Presence," and "All Power Is Given Unto Our Lord." Interment was made in the Windfall cemetery.

Pallbearers were: John Winn, James Wink, Allen Kayser, Robert Spry, Curtiss Marg and Clarence Gilbertson. Flower girls were Ruth Spry and Jane Gilbertson with Mrs. Ben Beeckler directing.

Those coming some distance to attend the funeral were: Mrs. Gertrude Peterson, Miss Emma Kimball, Lawrence Davis, Betty Davis, Jim Davis of Stevens Point; Mr. and Mrs. Everett Moore, Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Ward Weldon, A J. Miller, and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Precourt, Stevens Point.
