Kleinschmidt, Alma (23 SEP 1916)

On Saturday morning, Sept. 23, 1916, at 8 o’clock at the home of L.C. Kleinschmidt occurred the marriage of his daughter, Miss Alma to Mr. Oscar Bye, of Lily, S.D.

The ceremony was performed by Rev. J.S. Willmarth of this city in presence of only a few relatives and friends. The couple were attended by a sister and brother of the bride, Mrs. J.E. Coash and Julius Kleinschmidt.

The bride is well known here and a general favorite of all. She graduated from the Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) High School with the class of 1914 and has taught school in the west. The bride is of an exceptional sweet and lovely dispcosition. The groom is a stranger in our midst but we hope he is worthy of the prize he has won.

Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Bye left Saturday morning for Lily, S.D., where they will make their home.

The Gleaner joins with the host of friends in wishing them all the joys that life can hold for them.
