Marshall, Ella (1880? - 29 MAY 1916)
In Castlewood, S.D., May 29th, 1916, occurred the death of Ella May Marshall, aged 35 years. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Marshall, the latter being a sister of Mr. John Shanks of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.). Miss Marshall had been blessed with more than ordinary business tact, and after graduating had held various positions of trust, having been employed for some time in a local drug store, afterwards with a telephone company, then as deputy county auditor, and the last five years of her life was spent as a valued employee in the bank of her home town. She leaves an aged father and one sister to mourn her loss.
