Word has been received here by Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Ketchpaw, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) of the death of their son-in-law, John George Memhard, at Bancroft, Idaho.

Mr. Memhard was born at Madison on June 19, 1851. He was the second oldest of 10 children, eight boys and two girls, five of whom are living. His parents came from Heidelberg, Germany, in 1847.

For 35 years he was employed by the Carson Pierre Scott Company of Chicago, and in 1899 came to Greenwood, where he was manager of the Big Store. After leaving Greenwood he was employed by the Salt Lake Credit Company of Utah for a number of years. He operated and owned a store at Twin Falls, Idaho, and at Bancroft, Idaho.

He was married to Addie Ketchpaw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B.F. Ketchpaw, who survives besides his five brothers and sisters. Interment was made at Bancroft.
