Flagg, Marjorie (25 OCT 1943)

St. Mary’s Catholic Church at Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) was the scene of the wedding ceremony which united Miss Marjorie Flagg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S.B. Flagg of Greenwood, and Robert Wake, son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Wake of Columbus, in marriage. The nuptials were read by the Rev. J. Novak at 9 a.m., Oct. 25, 1943. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Weisensel of Columbus, brother-in-law and sister of the bride, were the only attendants.

For the occasion the bride chose a rust colored suit and matching accessories, and Mrs. Weisensel wore a rust colored gown with accessories to match. Both wore shoulder corsages of roses and pompons.

Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast for the bridal party was held at the home of the bride’s parents, where that evening a reception took place.

The bride was graduated from the Neillsville High School and the groom from the Columbus High School. They will reside in Columbus where the groom is employed as an electrician and a painter.

Guests were Mrs. M. Wake and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Weisensel and family of Columbus.
