Dums, Adolph J. and Delores H. (Boxrucker) (24 Sep 1941 - 24 Sep 2006)

Adolph J. and Delores H. (Boxrucker) Dums celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Sep. 24, 2006 with flowers and a special cake served at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehab Center in Schofield.

Adolph and Delores were married Sep. 24, 1941 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Marshfield. They are currently members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby.

Adolph was born Jan. 25, 1919, in Park Falls. He served in the military during World War II.

The former Delores H. (Boxrucker) was born Aug 11, 1920.

Their eight children include Carol (Jim) Morrow of Loyal, Bob (Kathy) Dums of Denton, NC., Ron (Mary) Dums of South Milwaukee, Gary (Robin) Dums of Elkhart, Joyce (Bob) Vogel of Marshfield, Dan Dums of Mukwanago, Rich (Lindy) Dums of Mr. Pleasant, NC., and Nicole (Kent) Christensen of Spencer, IA.

Adolph and Delores also have 22 grandchildren, two step grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.

A family gathering will be held Nov. 11 at Best Western Clearwaters Hotel and Convention center in Marshfield.
