Jensen, Lucille (Marriage - 15 Nov. 1939)

Wednesday, November 15, at a three-o’clock ceremony performed by Judge O. W. Schoengarth at Neillsville, Miss Lucille Jensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Jensen, Marshfield, rural route one, became the bride of Harold Pagelsdorft, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Pagelsdorf, Loyal, rural route one. The couple was attended by the groom’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Pagelsdorf, as maid of honor and best man, also Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cepress, uncle and aunt of the bride, as bridesmaid and groomsmen.

The bride wore a blue custom suit with a gray fur jacket with blue hat and black accessories. She wore a shoulder bouquet, of yellow pompons.

Mrs. Pagelsdorf wore a wine colored dress with black fur jacket and black accessories. Mrs. Cepress wore a Peacock blue dress with black fur jacket and black accessories. Both wore shoulder bouquets of white pompons.

The men work dark suits and boutonnieres of white pompoms.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents where sixty immediate friends and relatives were entertained, and later in the evening a wedding dance was given at the country ballroom, Marshfield.

The bride was employed at the McMillan Store at Marshfield the past year.

The groom has been employed with the Clark County highway department for three years.

Mr. and Mrs. Pagelsdorf will be at home at Loyal, rural route one.

Those who attended the reception were: Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Pagelsdorf, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Pagelsdorf, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Haselow, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Weyhmiller, all of Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Felten and son, Peter, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Joe Felten and family, Mr. and Mrs. James Felton and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Hardinger and family, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cepress and family, all of McMillian; and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Motchenbacker and Audrey, Mr. and Mrs. William Romdoy, son, Dale, and Leone Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Buchholtz, and family, Mr. and Mrs. Loy Rayhorn and family, all of Marshfield.
