Frances Murphy

Frances Murphy, 91, formerly of Willard, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006, at Burnsides Community Health Center, Marshall, Ill.

Funeral Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Cuddie Funeral Home, Greenwood. The Rev. Wendell Williams will officiate and burial will follow in Willard Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, at the funeral home.

Frances Herrick was born March 9, 1915, in Willard, the daughter of Jacob and Anna (Pintar) Herrick. She married Dean V. Murphy on Oct. 18, 1947.

She is survived by her husband, Dean, of Marshall Ill.; children, Sheila Robinson, Martinsville, Ill., Lorre (Al) Chapman, Greenwood Ind., and Bob (Carolyn) Murphy, Martinsville, Ill.; siblings, Donna Smith, St. Paul, Minn., Joan Noah, Willard, Lou Hawley, Sun City, Ariz., and Edward Herrick, Bossier City, La.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, three sisters and five brothers.
