Draper, Guy (9 Jan. 1895 - 1908)*Birth Date taken from the Sheboygan County Birth Index.

This week it becomes our painful duty to chronicle the death of Guy, the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Draper of the town of Unity. His untimely death was due to blood poison, he having been sick but ten days. He received the best of medical care but his constitution was not strong enough to withstand the terrible disease.

The deceased was 13 years 8 months old. He was born at Scott, Sheboygan County and has resided with his parents in the town of Unity since 1889. He was a bright intelligent youth, well liked by his acquaintances and dearly beloved by his parents and sisters.

The funeral was held from the M. E. church in this village, interment taking place at the Colby cemetery, Rev. G. W. Austin officiating.

Besides the immediate relatives a large concourse of friends assisted at the last sad rites. The casket was heaped with beautiful flowers by kind friends as a token of the high esteem in which he was held.

Card of Thanks

We desire to extend our thanks to the many friends who assisted us during the sickness and after the death of our beloved son.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Draper

[Parents are: Edward & Lydia (Rhobacher) Draper.]
