Przybylski, Alex E. (March 31, 1913 - August 7, 2002)

Alex E. Parker-Przybylski, age 89, of Chippewa Falls, Town of Lafayette, died Wednesday, August 7, 2002 at the Chippewa Manor Nursing Home in Chippewa Falls.

He was born March 31, 1913, in Thorp to Josephine (Slowiak) and Valentine Przybylski. He grew up in Thorp. Alex married Katherine Gwiazda on June 26, 1936, in Mitchell, S. D. They resided in Chicago from 1936, where he was employed at the Chicago Press and Webb Linn Press, until moving to Chippewa Falls, in 1969. He was employed at Johnson Printing in Eau Claire, until he retired.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Katherine Parker-Przybylski of Chippewa Falls and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Vernie Koticke and Josephine Kinas; and five brothers: Mike, Walter, Tony, Frank and John Przybylski.

A funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 12, 2002, at Pederson-Volker Funeral Chapel, Chippewa Falls, with Rev. Richard Estrem-Fuller of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating. Interment followed at Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
