In 1966, he became the county agent for dairy services at the University of Wisconsin-Extension Office in Neillsville, Wis. Vic also completed his master's degree in dairy acience through the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1970 and was an associate professor of agriculture/agribusiness. He enjoyed working with area farmers and retired in 1988.

Vic greatly loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing and gardening. Vic will be greatly missed by his family and many friends and will always be remembered for his wit and sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy Wagner of Greenwood; his children, Mary Jo (Jim) Gregorich of Greenwood, Thomas Wagner of Glen Ellyn, Ill., and William Wagner of Phoenix, Ariz.
