Anton Theodore Julius Steinert, age 79, died at his home in the town of Longwood (Clark Co., Wis.), Tuesday morning following an illness of but a few days. He was one of the earliest settlers in that vicinity, having resided on the home farm for the past thirty-six years. His death was caused from heart trouble and dropsy, from which he had been a sufferer for the past two years.

He is survived by his widow, one son, Arthur, who is at home, and one daughter, Mrs. W.F. Miller of Chicago. Funeral services will be conducted from the Congregational Church in Owen, Friday afternoon, the Rev. W.P. Powell, officiating, and interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery.
