Harrington, Elmer (1865? - 6 Aug. 1938)

A military funeral was held last Tuesday for Elmer Harrington, 73, who passed away at Plymouth, Saturday evening, August 6. He was stricken while walking on the streets of Plymouth, where he had gone to consult a physician.

Mr. Harrington lived in Neillsville for a time, clerking for Reitz and Haugen and for Blach and Tragsdorf. He enlisted with Company A., Third Wisconsin Regiment and saw service in Porto Rico for about six months. He enlisted in the infantry but was transferred to the hospital department and drove an ambulance.

He is remembered here by all Spanish-American War Veterans, Arthur Haugen, and others.
