Pleasant Ridge

The Scheeler family entertained some relatives from California the past week.

Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Feutz spent the weekend of the Fourth at the Ernest Vine home, leaving for Valparaiso, Ind., where they are working for a couple of weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. John Howard of Neillsville and Ted Selves spent Sunday at the Geo. Howard home.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Klapper and family of Green Bay have been visiting at the Otto Handke, E. C. Short and Reuben Handke homes the past week, also relatives in Neillsville, Wis.

Miss Aileen Geisler of Stevens Point spent Sunday with her grandparents and aunt. Monday afternoon they took her home.

Rawleigh Dietrich had an electric regrigerator installed the past week; also Willard Gerhardt.

Mrs. Henry Carter of Crandon and Mr. and Mrs. Poppe of Milwaukee visited at the Arlo Huckstead and Fred Vine homes the past week.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Swan, Crandon were here to see Mr. Swan’s father, who is quite ill in Neillsville, Wis.

Mr. O. D. Barron and daughter, Rita, of Elgin, Ill., visited with her sister, Mrs. Ernest Vine. She came up with Mrs. Kenneth McGuire of Ottawa, Ill., a daughter of V. C. Woelffer, Neillsville, Wis. They arrived Tuesday and started home Sunday morning.

Alva Howards are wiring and J. E. Hughes went on REA Friday.
