Walter Boehning left Thursday to attend the funeral of his wife's sister, Miss Viola Pribbenow, who died at the age of 19 years. Appendicitis was the cause of death. Mrs. Boehning was unable to attend because of illness.

HOLD SERVICE FOR MISS V. PRIBBERNOW

Services were conducted for Miss Pribbernow at the Robert R. Kohler. The body was taken to Curtiss this morning for burial Wednesday.

Mrs. Melva Boehning, 60, a resident of the Heritage Nursing Home at Port Washington, died Friday at St. Alphonsus Hospital there.

Born April 20, 1907, at Curtis, Wis., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Pribbernow, she was married to Walter Boehning at Marshfield on Jan. 27, 1928. The couple moved to Port Washington about 30 years ago, and Mr. Boehning died April 19, 1947.

Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Lila) Jacoby of Dacada, Mrs. Rueben (Geraldine) Schellenberg of Cascade, Mrs. Patricia Vickers and Miss Jacqueline Boehning of Chicago, and Mrs. Charles (Carol) Skeris of Port Washington; two sons, Arvin of Los Angele's , Calif,, and Sgt. Gene Boehning of Ft Bragg, N.C; 23 grandchildren and one great grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Caroline Brossow of Withee, Wis., and a brother, Fred Pribbernow of Colby, Wis.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Horn Funeral Home at Port Washington, with the Rev. Arthur Senn, pastor of St. John's Church at Fredonia, officiating. Burial will be in the Port Washington Union Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Sunday.
