Langreck, Marie J. (Marriage - 30 May 1938)

At high mass Monday morning, Mary 30, at St. Mary’s Church Miss Marie J. Langreck was united in marriage to John Resong in the presence of about 45 friends and relatives. Father Biegier performed the ceremony. The wedding march was played by Mrs. A. C. Wagner.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Langreck of Route 4, Neillsville, Wis. She was attired in a gown of white satin and lace, with train, and wore a veil. Her bouquet was a beautiful arrangement of pink and white flowers and baby’s breath. Her maid of honor, Mrs. John Schiesel, Neillsville, wore peach colored Marquisette with shoulder length peach colored veil and carried mixed flowers. Dorothy Langreck, sister of the bride, was also an attendant.

Mrs. Resong attended Neillsville city school and for some time has been working as a nurse aid at ST. Nickolas hospital, Sheboygan, where she rendered excellent service.

The groom is a son of Mrs. Anna Resong of Pine Valley. He was attended by a nephew, Elmer Hoesly, and John E. Schiesel. He is employed by the Neillsville Maytag Co. as radio repair man, being an excellent workman.

A dinner and reception were given at the home of the bride’s parents, followed by a shower in the evening. The color scheme was yellow and white and was carried out in mixed-flower arrangements.

The couple left on a wedding trip to the northern lakes and, upon their return, will be at home with the groom’s mother.

Their many friends join with the Press in wishing them happiness and success.
