Cronin, Rosella (10 OCT 1936)

A pretty fall wedding took place at the home of the bride’s sister, Mrs. Phillip Vollrath, Saturday evening, Oct. 10th, 1936, when Miss Rosella Cronin, daughter of Mrs. P.H. Cronin, became the bride of Martin Zickert, son of Mr. and Mrs. R.A. Zickert of Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.).

The marriage vows were read by Rev. George Heilman, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church. The Lohengrin wedding march was played by Mrs. Richard Moldenhauer. The bride entered the room on the arm of her brother Jay.

The bride wore a floor length princess gown of white satin, with a halo effect veil trimmed with orange blossoms and pearls and carried a bouquet of Talisman roses and swansonia.

She was attended by her sister, Mrs. Henry Goettsch, who wore a floor length gown of Venetian lace, with a shoulder corsage. The groom and his attendant, Henry Goettsch, wore dark suits.

The home was appropriately decorated for the occasion in pink and white and a wedding supper was served to sixty-five guests.

The young couple will make their home at Christie (Clark Co.), where the groom is employed as a cheesemaker.

The Gleaner joins with their many friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy married life.
