Mr. Seelow was born in Germany Nov. 11, 1869, to Mr. and Mrs. William Seelow. He grew to young manhood there. On Oct. 15, 1892, he was married to Bertha Mathilda Herman and removed to America in 1893, having lived in Clark County for 45 years. Four children were born to this union, one of whom, Minnie, is deceased. Surviving are: Wm. A. Seelow, Pine Valley; Anna, Mrs. Herman Dahnert, Levis; and Edith, Mrs. John Trogner, Neillsville, Wis. Two brothers, William of Pine valley, and Louie Seelow of Germany, preceded him in death, and two sisters, Mrs. August Dux and Mrs. Fred Witt survive.

Mrs. Seelow passed away July 24, 1901, and on August 5, 1903, Mr. Seelow was again married to Miss Bertha Wesenberg of Neillsville, who survives him, one daughter, Esther, being born to them. There are also 15 grandchildren.

Deceased was a hard working man, living at all times a life that was credit to himself and as asset to the community. He was strictly honest in all his dealings with his fellowmen.

The funeral will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Lowe’s Funeral Home and at 2 o’clock at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Rev. Wm. A. Baumann conducting the rites, interment taking place in the Pine Valley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ellis Jacklin, Dan Timerson, Carl Allen, Paul Dux, Wm. Naedler Sr. and Carl Dahnert.
