Word has been received here of the marriage of Miss Kathryn Wendel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wendel of this community to Mr. Neil G. Fahrner of Wisconsin Rapids on June 22, 1934. The ceremony was performed at St. Mark’s parish, St. Paul, Minn., by Rev. A. Schmidt. They were attended by Miss Betty Lewis of St. Louis, Mo., a friend of the bride, and Kenneth Atwood, of Stillwater, Minn. The bride wore an ankle length gown of light yellow flat crepe with large white hat, gloves and white slippers. She carried a shower bouquet of roses and lilies of the valley.
The groom wore navy blue. The young couple will make their home in St. Paul where the groom has an excellent position.
