Eva Risken, daughter of Mrs. Joe Risken of Minneapolis and Ralph Picus, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Picus of this city were united in marriage at 5:30 P. M. Sunday, October 22nd, by Rabbi Gordon at the home of the bride’s aunt, Mrs. A. Golden of Minneapolis.

The attendants were Sally Risken, sister of the bride and Leon Picus, brother of the groom.

The bride was attired in a brown sheer silk dress and carried a bouquet of roses. The bridesmaid wore a pale blue crepe dress and also carried a bouquet of roses.

The groom and best man were attired in oxford grey suits.

The bride is a graduate of Duluth Central High School, Class of 1927, and since that time has lived with her mother in Duluth and Minneapolis.

The groom needs no introduction to his many friends, having grown to manhood in Loyal. For the past fourteen months he has been managing the Picus Store in Unity.

A wedding dinner was held at the home of the bride’s aunt to immediate relatives and friends.

The newlyweds will make their home with the groom’s parents.

Out of town guests who attended the wedding were the groom’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Ben Picus, son Sidney of Loyal and son Leon of Madison; Mr. Harry Davis, Miss Lee Davis, Mrs., Dave Sherman, Mrs., Ruby Siegel, Mrs. Isadore Chrystal, Mrs. Arthur Cohen of Duluth; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Picus of Delano, Minn., Mr. Roy Picus, Friedship, Wis., Mrs. H. Swiennoff and Norma Cohen of Neillsville, Wis.

The Tribune joins their many friends in extending the newlyweds congratulations.
