Marvin Aumann, age 69, was called home to the Lord on Thursday, October 27, 2005.

Marvin Charles Aumann was born on August 4, 1936 in Neillsville, the son of Claude and Anna (Reich) Aumann. He attended and graduated from Neillsville High School. Marv worked for Max Langfeld in Loyal, doing construction. He also worked in Milwaukee for a short time. The Lord joined Marvin and Ann Votava in marriage on September 21, 1957 in Neillsville, Wis. Marv also worked at the Fullerton Lumber Co, driving cement and delivery truck for 13 years. Marv and Ann owned the Bakery in downtown Neillsville and operated that for three years. He also worked for 20 years at Barr’s, driving semi-truck. He was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Neillsville, Wis. His hobbies in life included fishing, especially his trips to Canada fishing with his sons and grandsons.

Surviving is his wife, Ann; three sons, Ronald (Jeanne) Aumann, of Neillsville, James (Dawn) Aumann, of Anchorage, AK, and William (Kim) Aumann, of Milwaukee; one daughter, Stacy Aumann of Neillsville; 11 grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Jacob, Aaron, Crystal, Troy, B.J., Janel, Michael, Mytchel and Katie; two great-grandchildren, Ryden and Cyrus; his mother, Anna; and a brother Donald (Betty) Aumann, of Sussex, WI.

Preceding Marv in death was his father Claude, and a son, Mark.

Funeral services for Marvin Aumann were held, Monday, October 31, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville, Wis. Pastor Timothy Biebert officiated. Music was provided by Judy Trunkel, organist and Dan Dux, soloist. Interment was in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Casket bearers were: Lamoine Anason, Keith Durham, Kenny Krause, Melvin Nemitz, Fritz Seelow and Verlyn Shaw.

The Gesche Funeral Home assisted Marvin’s family with the funeral arrangements.
