Neitzel, Wilhelmina (30 NOV 1862 - 20 FEB 1945)

LOYAL, Clark Co., Wis. - Mrs. William Neitzel, 82, died of complications of ailments Tuesday evening at 8:30 o’clock at her home on route 2, Loyal.

Beginning Thursday morning the body will lie in state at the Seehafer-Hansen Funeral Home, Marshfield, where the Rev. Arthur E. Oates, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Marshfield, will conduct funeral services Friday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock. Burial will be made in Hillside cemetery.

Mrs. Neitzel, the former Wilhelmina Ehlert, was born in Germany Nov. 30, 1862, and was married March 29, 1883, to William Neitzel at Loyal, where she had made her home the past 60 years.

Surviving besides her husband are four daughters and two sons, Mrs. Albert (Minnie) Neitzel, Tulare, S.D.; Robert Neitzel, Newell, Iowa; Mrs. H.C. (Cora) Beckfield, Pomeroy, Iowa; Max Neitzel, Loyal; Mrs. William (Hattie) Kleinsmith, Loyal; and Miss Effie Neitzel, Milwaukee. Another daughter, Mrs. Ed (Elsie) Miller, died in 1940. There are 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Her three brothers, Karl, William, and August Ehlert, her sister, Anna, and her parents, August and Wilhlemina Ehlert, preceded her in death.
