South Romadka

The Misses Aletha and Elaine Pietenpol entertained Helen Ledeburh of Milwaukee, Irene Bartz and Evelyn Bartz with a slumber party.

Mrs. Wendell Crothers entertained the Home Economic Club Wednesday afternoon. After the business meeting a light lunch was served by the hostess. The next meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Bert Hayden the second Wednesday in September.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Baker and daughter Jean of Eau Claire spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Baker. Mrs. Amelia Montgomery who has been spending the past two weeks with them returned to her home here.

Mrs. Laura Pietenpol entertained the W. W. Club Thursday; an excellent dinner was enjoyed by the members and their families. The afternoon was spent in sewing the kitchen "helpers".

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bartz and Neva and Dorothy Ledebuhr went to Rock Lake Monday to try their hands at fishing; they will return Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Pietenpol went to Marshfield Monday, as her sister, Mrs. Art Short, was admitted to St. Joseph’s hospital where she will undergo a serious * * Rest cut off. * *
