Perschke, Ellsworth (11 MAY 1903 - 13 DEC 1937)

UNITY, Wis. - Ellsworth Perschke, 34, who operated the East Side garage here for the past year, died at 12:30 p.m. Monday after an illness of several days. Death was caused by a heart ailment and asthma.

He had been in poor health for a number of years, and at the time of his death ahd been planning to leave soon for Colorado, hoping that the climate in that state would benefit his health. His condition reached a critical stage Saturday.

Mr. Perschke, who made his home here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Perschke, was born May 11, 1903 at Colby. At the age of eight he moved here with his parents, attending the local grad and high school.

Surviving besides his parents are one sister, Mrs. LaVerne Murphy, Detroit, Mich., and four brothers, Chester, Grand Rapids, Mich.; Leslie, Madison; Orland, Beaver Dam, and Carol, Wis. Rapids.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. P.A. Olson will officiate, and burial will take place in the Colby Cemetery.

Carol Perschke and his aunt, Mrs. Emma Goldberg, Wis. Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. Orland Perschke, beaver Dam, and Leslie Perschke, Madison, arrived here yesterday at the Perschke home. The remainder of the family is expected to arrive today.

I am the son of Chester A Perschke. Ellsworth was my uncle.Do you have any records of my birth. I was born aug 17 1922. I think in Unity or Colby Wi. I am not sure. Any info would be welcome
