Kesler, Oliver F. (31 JUL 1936 - 25 JAN 2006)

Oliver F. Kesler, 69, Manawa, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006. The funeral Mass was held on Monday, Jan. 30, at 10 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manawa. The Rev. Bertin Samsa OFM Cap officiated. Burial was in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Greenwood.

Oliver Francis Kesler was born on July 31, 1936, in Colby, to Oliver Joseph and Marie (nee Gierl) Kesler. He lived in Colby and also Greenwood until moving to Manawa in 1967. He had worked for A. Sturm & Sons and Tradewinds in Manawa and was currently working at Waupaca Tractor. He enjoyed going to flea markets and auctions. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manawa.

Survivors include four brothers, LeRoy (Joanne) Kesler, Ramsey, Minn., Richard (Sandra) Kesler, Zimmerman, Minn., James (Necia) Kesler, Amherst Junction, and David (Barbara) Kesler, Watertown; one sister, Sharon (Sven) Sandblom, Tucson, Ariz.; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and one brother, Raymond Kesler.

Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home, Manawa, assisted the family with arrangements.
