Stewart, Frances (14 MAY 1935)

A very pretty wedding took place at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church on Tuesday morning when Rev. A.M. Muckerheide joined in holy bonds, Miss Frances Stewart, and Bernard F. Schmidt, son of Mr. and Mrs. George J. Schmidt, of the town of Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.

The bride wore a pink silk organdy gown, with picture hat and white accessories. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and lilies of the valley. The groom wore an oxford gray suit.

Attending the couple were Arthur Stewart, brother of the bride, and Marie Schmidt, sister of the groom, and Raymond and Alyce Schmidt. The bridesmaids wore yellow organdy dresses, with picture hats and white accessories. The carried bouquets of yellow roses and white sweet peas. The groom’s attendants wore gray suits.

A wedding breakfast was served to immediate relatives of the couple. They will reside on a farm two and one-quarter miles west of Thorp.
