Beyer, Rose Henrietta (9 Nov. 1893 - 13 July 1935)

Mrs. Ben Beyer passed away at her farm home, four miles north of Wabasso Saturday, July 13, shortly after 10 o’clock a.m., following an illness of six months or more.

Mrs. Beyer (nee) Rose Henrietta Lueck was born in the town of Weston, Neillsville, Wis., Nov. 9, 1893. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lueck. She attended parochial schools in that community and grew to womanhood there. Mrs. Beyer was 41 years of age at the time of her death. On Dec. 4, 1919, she was united in marriage to Mr. Ben Beyer of Redwood Falls, Minn., in Neillsville, and returned at once to Redwood County where they have engaged in farming near Wabasso ever since. She was calm and patient in all her sufferings, not complaining during her illness.

She is survived by her husband, and two daughters, 5 and 11 years of age. She also leaves her mother, Mrs. Tillie Lueck of Neillsville, and the following brothers and sisters: Chas. and Wm. Lueck of Neillsville, Wis.; Erick Lueck of Greenwood, Wis.; Mrs. Theo. Hoffmann of Wabasso, and Mrs. Henry Stiemke of Neillsville, Wis.

Funeral services were held at the local Lutheran church last Monday afternoon at 1:30, Rev. F. R. Baumann, officiating. Interment was made in the Lamberton Cemetery.

Out of town relatives in attendance at the funeral included the following: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Stiemke and family, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Lueck and daughter and Wm. Lueck all of Neillsville, Wis.; MR. and Mrs. Erick Lueck of Greenwood, Wis.; Mrs. Bertha Mitte and Mrs. Herman Schoenherr, Mrs. Ottilie Lueck of Neillsville, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Malenski and Mrs. Putzkie and son of Paynesville, Minn.; and Mrs. John Fink of New Ulm. - Wabasso Gleaner.
