Meyers, Bertha E. (6 JUN 1907)

Mr. George A. Sullivan of Hillsdale, Mich., and Miss Bertha E. Meyers of this place (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), were married in the parlors of the First Congregational Church Parsonage, at Oshkosh, Wis., at five o’clock p.m., Wednesday, June 6th. Rev. Edward H. Smith of the First Congregational Church performed the ceremony. The bride was attended by Miss Fanny E. Hyland of Kaukauna, and the groom by Mr. Wm. S. McKay of Oshkosh. A wedding supper was served to the bridal party at the Atherean Hotel.

The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Meyers of Green Grove, Clark Co., and the groom is a traveling salesman, with headquarters at Ishpeming, Mich. The young couple arrived here last Thursday for a short visit with the bride’s parents, sisters, brother and many friends, all of whom will join the Phonograph in wishing this estimable couple a long and pleasant journey through life. Mr. Sullivan will resume his duties in two weeks and the bride will accompany him.
