Louie Moh and daughter, Leona, were Stevens Point business callers Saturday.

Mrs. R. Miller and children of Winona spent over Sunday at the Rev. A. Laesch home.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. E. Bresman entertained the following at their home Sunday in honor of their son, Algalnon’s confirmation: Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Anding and daughter, Verelai, and Fern Emmlinger of Altoona, Verland Anding and Paul Cushman of Mt. Clemens, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. Aug Pieper, Arnie Peiper and family, Mr. and Mrs. R. Peiper and MR. and Mrs. Wm. Forman, all of Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Krause and sons, J. P. Breseman, Alvin Garber and daughter, La Verne, and Harold Panning.

Leilah Dopp of Neillsville spent Sunday with home folks.

Roger Clifford, infant son of Rev. and Mrs. A. Laesch was baptized Sunday at Zion Lutheran Church.

Arthur Reidel is doing interior decorating at the Walter Trimberger home.

Verna Goebel, Arlene Keuer, Algarnon Breseman, Herbert Grassman and Lester Handke were members of Rev. J. J. Buth’s confirmation class of last Sunday.

Leona Moh is assisting with the housework at the Erhart Witte home.

Paul Handke and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Sternitzky and baby, and Mrs. Chas. Neinas and daughter, Lydia, were Sunday visitors at the Adolph Schune home.

The community was greatly shocked to hear of the sudden death of Mrs. Martin Hasz of Luxemburg, wife of a former pastor of the Zion Lutheran Church.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dopp, son Leland, and daughter, Leilah, spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Garber.

It is reported that Mrs. H. P. Witte still remains ill at the Eau Claire Luther hospital.

Mrs. Alvin Garber has been ill and confined to her bed with the la grippe.
